Natural Light: Position Matters More Than Amount

More windows doesn't automatically mean better light. A window directly behind your monitor creates glare and forces your eyes to constantly readjust. If you have a choice, position the desk perpendicular to the window, not facing it or backing into it.

On Video Calls, Light Your Face — Not Just the Room

A well-lit room still produces a poorly lit face if the light source is behind or above you rather than in front of you.
